The Pure Life Society was selected for the Prestigious BRANDLAUREATE Award. It was a testament of our brand success and a great source of inspiration to the management and staff for the untiring efforts in building the brand. The award function was held at Majestic Hotel, K.L on 20th December 2018. Datin Paduka (Dr) Mother Mangalam , our President received the award. We received it as recognition for the branding as a Community Orphanage .
We are most grateful to the World Humanitarian Drive UK (WHD), in nominating the Pure Life Society as a recipient of the prestigious GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN AWARD - Excellence in Charity – Outstanding Big Hearts Award held on 28th June 2020.
WHD accepted nominations from all corners of the world irrespective of any nationality, age, organisation and community groups. In total, the Organising Committee received more than 1,600 entries from 52 countries. The shortlist of the award included 550 projects. 100 projects from 35 countries, were shortlisted.
The award is for all humanity to emulate and soar high. The trust and honour placed on the PLS shall motivate and spur us further. Together, the nation will be productive and move towards prosperity.
The Gandhi Memorial Trust is to present a special award to the life president of The Pure Life Society, Datin Paduka Mother A. Mangalam (pix), for her immense contribution towards public service for more than 60 years.
GMT chairman S. Radhakrishnan said the award would be presented to Mangalam, 88, in conjunction with the United Nations international day of non-violence at an event to be held at the Royal Lake Club here on Thursday.
