In-conjunction with UN International Day of Peace 2019, PfPM is collaborating with various Peace NGOs, Government Agencies, Associations, Groups and individuals (“Partners”) to organize IDP Peace Week 2019 with the theme “Peace & Nature” which will be held from 1-20 September 2019. Example of activities will be organise is Tree Planting, Sports Event, River/Beach Cleaning, Art Competition, Peace Talk/Workshop, Teach Peace, A Peace Play, Dance for Peace, Sound of Peace and etc.
The theme for 2019 is “Climatic Action for Peace”. In Malaysia the Perpaduan (Deparment for National Unity and Integration), Pure Life Society (PLS), The Partners for Peace, Malaysia (PfPM), MPT (Majlis Perbandaran Taiping) in collaboration with various Peace NGOs, (SCI, MYCOM, Alumni MIYC, HANDS, JAIMA, LIONS, Rotary Clubs, RT, THS, WOP, YSM,) Agencies, Associations, Groups and Individuals have been very supportive of it and have held various activities to promote peace.
PLSWW will be organizing its annual (4th) WOMEN IN BUSINESS (WIB) BAZAAR. The bazaar will benefit single mothers by enabling them to promote their small businesses for the day during the bazaar, derive an income from it and be able to network for wider coverage.
Your presence will make the event a much memorable one.
